We hired Midwest Quality Construction to rebuild my free-standing woodworking shop following a fire that destroyed the building and much of the contents.
Scott and his team went above expectations with the demo including helping move out salvageable machines from the shop, disposing of destroyed tools/equipment, and thorough clean-up of the building site before starting new construction.
Scott frequently checked with us on options and always took our requests into consideration, including hand-built joist construction versus rafters to facilitate a proper second floor storage area, doors and window sizes and location, and difficult to find hand hewed log siding to match our house.
Given the inadequate insurance payment that didn’t even meet their own estimate, Scott worked with us to develop a plan for the project that would fit into the reduced budget. All work completed met codes and passed inspections and was done with high quality workmanship. He was always patient with us regarding time delays due to insurance/mortgage company logistics.
We are pleased with the new workshop and encourage anyone looking for excellent build quality at a fair price to give Scott a call.

It all in the name… Quality Construction!!! Scott and his team did a fantastic job repairing our damaged home after an ash tree fell on it from a winter storm. They responded quickly to our request and even were willing to meet on the weekend for an estimate. We were keep in constant communication and always aware of the project timeline. He was always willing to answer any questions, no matter how ridiculous, and provided helpful construction suggestions. We are thrilled with the exterior work Midwest Quality Construction completed, and we look forward to future interior home improvement projects with Scott and his team.
